About Kimberly Furey
A love of photography was inherited from my Dad, who had his own darkroom in the basement. He often invited me in to watch his b&w film developing, patiently explaining what each step did, and letting me try sometimes. While I prefer digital, I'm so glad to have kept Dad's old Praktica, and I miss his whimsical creativity. Now I'm the shutterbug, frequently driving my friends nuts by stopping mid-sentence for random 'gotta have a picture of that!'
